Western Marine Shipyard (Hull WMShL-116 & 117) received an order from the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) for 2 high capacity passenger vessels to be used for the reinstated Dhaka-Kolkata river passage. These two projects were completed and delivered in 2014 and 2015.
