Ugandan Government – MV Kyoga-2

Western Marine Shipyard (Hull WMShL-138) received an order from JGH Marine A/S, Denmark, for a roll-on-roll-off (ro-ro) passenger ferry for the Ugandan government, to be operated in the country’s Lake Kyoga. Because of Lake Kyoga’s isolation from main waterway’s and channels, Western Marine constructed the vessel on-site in Uganda, and the vessel was launched and delivered there, in 2016.
