The Managing Director of Western Marine Shipyard, Mr. Sakhawat Hossain receiving Gold trophy from the Hon’ble Prime Minister for contribution in national export for the year 2010-2011.Western Marine Shipyard received a gold trophy for their contribution in national export of Bangladesh for the year 2010-2011. 47 organizations were awarded trophies by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Begum Sheikh Hasina at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka. All the organizations were awarded at three categories, gold, silver & Bronze. The ceremony was jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce & Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh. The Managing Director of Western Marine Shipyard Mr. Sakhawat Hossain received the trophy on behalf of the shipyard. To be mentioned Western Marine Shipyard delivered eight 5,200 DWT Cargo Ships to Germany in the year 2010 & 2011 which are worth of more than BDT 650 cr.
